Final Twitter Update

This week is all about the rep up works. I have been tweeting about my AP essay's problem and solution sections and what I've learned in this course throughout the quarter. I've also retweeted some of my classmates' quotes of their AP essays. I was able to learn a lot about species that I have not researched on, such as dogs and apes. Apes are facing problems like illegal capturing and hunting, while dogs face more domestic problems about their health care and protection from thieves. I have followed accounts of organizations which focus on protecting other species than crows.

Throughout the quarter, I have been using Twitter as a tool to gather information about species that I'm going to research about. This is my first time using Twitter, and I found it useful for learning about basic information of the species. By following other accounts, I was able to view some researches that are newly done on the species, and some problems the species face. However, one downside of Twitter is that, since it is a social media platform, information about animals are broad and are for people who are completely unaware of what's happening. It can only give me broad opinions of what I need to research on. After that, I still need to search for information on other platforms that are more scientific, such as google scholars. I also learned a lot from my classmates' posts about other animal species. Although I did not focus on researches done on these species, I can still get an idea of the problems they are facing by reading posts. I will continue to use Twitter as a tool to help my future researches.
