Week 3 Twitter update

This week I found myself more familiar with Twitter. I discovered a new function, which Twitter automatically recommends accounts I might be interested in for me to follow. Since this Twitter account is new created and the only people I've been following are either my classmates or are famous researchers about animals, the accounts Twitter recommended for me are majorly related to animal rights and protection. Besides, it also includes accounts of famous researchers too. It's very convenient for me to just click on the follow button and follow all people and organizations I want to.

I retweeted mostly about sea animals this week. I followed a couple accounts such as NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration & Research, and Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC). I glanced through their tweets and found lots of information about sea animals. I was able to learn a lot from them. I also tweeted myself about issues related to destruction of habitats. For example, recently Japan has decided to dump their nuclear waste water into Pacific Ocean. That definitely needs to stop immediately, otherwise the whole ocean will be polluted half permanently.

I have responded to the blogs of Pearl Choi, Phoebe Lu, and Songqi Wen. They all have amazing information included, either about their current status of being in China and live a weird schedule, or including their understandings of the Time articles we've read. Some of them have a life full of animals, which I often dreamed about having it myself.
